Scientific Focus
My research focuses on the neural mechanisms of perception, prediction, and learning, with particular emphasis on how sensory regularities, prior knowledge, and bodily states shape cognition.
Methods
I combine human neuroimaging and electrophysiology with cross-species (humans, marmosets, rats) approaches to study these processes across timescales, from basic sensory adaptation to language and social interaction.
