Glioma surgery between art and connectivity

The prognosis of patients with gliomas is largely determined by the extent of tumor removal. Often, however, this is opposed by the maintenance of function and quality of life. Modern neurosurgery takes both aspects into account, using modern surgical and technical procedures as well as findings from the cognitive neurosciences.
The lecture gave an emotionally moving insight into this fascinating field of modern neurosurgery.
